Yesha RidesDriver Terms
For the Yesha Driver app. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
1. Who can drive
- You must be 18 or older and hold a valid driving licence for your vehicle, with valid registration (RC), insurance and any permits the law requires.
- Upload true documents. Yesha verifies them before you can go online and may ask again when they expire.
- You are an independent driver, not an employee of Yesha. You choose when to go online.
2. Location while online
While you are online the app shares your location with Yesha, including in the background and with the screen off, so ride requests near you can reach you and passengers can see you arrive. Go offline to stop it.
3. Rides
- Accept only rides you can do. If you cannot, decline quickly so the passenger is not kept waiting.
- Start a ride only with the start code the passenger gives you at the pickup point.
- Drive safely and legally. No alcohol or drugs. Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.
- Treat passengers with respect. Harassment, overcharging or asking for extra money outside the app leads to removal.
4. Fares, fees and payouts
- Fares are calculated by Yesha. Yesha keeps a platform fee from each trip fare, shown in the app under Earnings.
- UPI rides: the passenger pays the full fare to Yesha. After Yesha confirms the payment, your share is added to your next payout.
- Cash rides: you keep the cash and owe Yesha its fee; this is subtracted from what Yesha owes you, or you pay it to Yesha.
- Payouts are made by UPI or bank transfer to the details you add under Account → Payment details. Yesha sends a receipt (also on WhatsApp) for each payout.
- You are responsible for your own income tax.
5. Ratings and removal
Passengers rate rides. Low ratings, complaints, false documents, fraud or unsafe driving can lead to suspension or removal. You can raise a complaint through Help.
6. Limits of responsibility
As far as the law allows, Yesha is not responsible for traffic fines, damage to your vehicle, or indirect losses. You must carry the insurance the law requires.
7. Law
These terms follow the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, after first trying to settle them through Help in the app.
