Yesha RidesTerms of Use (passengers)
For the Yesha ride booking app. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
1. The service
Yesha connects passengers with independent drivers of bikes, autos and cars. The driver provides the ride; Yesha provides the app, booking, tracking, payment handling and support.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and use your own mobile number.
- Keep your phone and sign-in code private. You are responsible for rides booked from your account.
- Give a correct name and pickup point.
3. Booking and fares
- The app shows an estimated fare before you book. The final fare is worked out by Yesha from the actual distance and time of the trip, and includes the service fee and taxes shown in the bill.
- Give the driver the start code shown in your app only when you are with them at the pickup.
- Cancelling after a driver has accepted may be limited, and repeated last-minute cancellations can lead to restrictions.
4. Paying
- Pay at the end of the ride: by UPI to Yesha's UPI ID from the app, or in cash to the driver.
- When paying by UPI, enter the correct 12-digit UPI transaction ID (UTR). Yesha checks it against its bank account. Entering a false UTR is fraud and the account will be blocked.
- Problems with a charge: tell us through Help in the app as soon as you can.
5. Behaviour and safety
- Treat drivers with respect. No violence, harassment, damage, illegal items or smoking in the vehicle.
- Wear a helmet on bike rides and a seat belt in cars where fitted.
- Use SOS in the app in an emergency, and call 112 if you are in danger.
6. Lost items and complaints
Chat with your driver from the ride screen for a short time after the ride, or raise a complaint under Help.
7. Limits of responsibility
We work to keep the service available and safe but cannot promise a driver will always be available or that the app will never be interrupted. As far as the law allows, Yesha is not responsible for indirect losses, such as a missed train or appointment. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Indian consumer law.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.
9. Law
These terms follow the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, after first trying to settle them through Help in the app.
